Samantha Cross: Currently studying an MA in Art Practice at the University of Glamorgan, South Wales.
Previous work has been a response to current affairs and has addressed human mortality. I have an ongoing interest in the human condition and post-modern society.
As a consumerist and thus throw-away society we are obsessed with the new and my current work is a response to this. My current work also seeks to address the galloping progression technology.
I am happiest working mixed media found objects into sculptures and installation. I love the possibilities that discarded, thrown away items offer.
